Rev. Jay Maltby, Minister
Rev. Jay Maltby is a member of Transformation Church in Seminole TX.
Major Jay Maltby is an ordained, licensed Sr. Chaplain with IFOC and one of the seven IFOC Regional Commanders in the U.S.
He has jail and prison ministries in west TX. and Lea County N.M.. Jay has preached at John Lilly Correctional Institution in Boley, Oklahoma and churches in west Texas. He has been on the Dr. Jack Myers team of ministers to the Dominican Republic three times. Rev. Jay has attended International College of Excellence at FHC and has received an associate degree in theology (Summa Cum Laude) and a Certificate of Ordination to the ministry by FHC in Seminole, TX..
Jay is currently serving on the Denver City Ministral Allinace (DCMA).
Prior to Transformation Church membership, Jay has been an elder, on the church advisory board, adult Sunday school teacher and a voluntary youth pastor of the First Assembly of God church in Denver City. He also re-wired and helped run the sound board and played drums for praise and worship.
Jay Maltby, Background
Jay hired on with Exxonmobil in south Texas in 1982 and transferred to the west Texas and New Mexico area in 1990, and after 30 years he retired at age 55 to allow more time for ministry. With Exxonmobil, as a licensed electrician, he supervised contractors, was a corrosion technician and an operations foreman. He worked part time for Interwest Electric in Denver City, Tx. as an electrical inspector or consultant.

Jay Maltby Ministries believes according to Paul's letter to Timothy (2 Tim. 3:14), that "all" scripture is given by inspiration of God. We believe that this pertains to the "whole" Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
Psalm 119:89 states that "God's Word is settled (stands firm) in heaven, forever", and also in 1 Peter 1:25 "God's Word endures forever". Malachi 3:6 states "I am the Lord and I do not change. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Jay Maltby Ministries believes according to Matthew 1:20-25 that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, Mary. She was conceived by God and Joseph took Mary as wife and had no physical relations until after the birth of Jesus.
We believe John 1:1&14 In the beginning was the Word (Gk. Logos:Christ) and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word (Jesus) became flesh, and dwelt among us.
John 6:38-40 Jesus said that He came from heaven to do the will of God the Father.
Matthew 27 tells how Jesus was crucified and paid in full the price for all our sins and Matthew 28 tells how Jesus was raised from the grave three days later and John 3;16-18 He said that whoever believes upon His death, and resurrection and accepts Him as Lord will receive eternal life.
This ministry is to help people find their God given gifts, talents and abilities based upon God's Word:
Ephesians 1:4,5 & 2:10 He chose us "in Him" before the foundation of the world and predestined us...
2 Timothy 1:9 He saved us and called us with a holy calling according to His purpose before time began...
Romans 8:28-30 ...to those who are called according to His purpose, He foreknew and predestined, to be conformed to the image of Jesus.
